"I paint with emotion harmony using color, shape, form, and rhythm. Painting with a bold use of texture and the interplay between positive and negative space creating a visual experience that feels like movement — artwork that uplifts and resonates on an emotional level."
Doris began painting in her childhood using oils on canvas painting landscapes, flowers, animals and won awards for her paintings. Studied business, marketing, architecture and commercial art in college then had a successful professional business marketing/sales career and painted in her spare time. While working at an internet start-up company Broadcast.com in 1995 she was inspired by the creative tech environment and began painting minimalist abstract style in acrylic medium on canvas. After a successful career in technology and media, she has dedicated herself fully to her lifelong calling: painting. Her work has been exhibited in Solo and Group Exhibitions, Businesses, Building Lobbies, Corporate Offices, Hotels over the years and featured in major art events including Art Expo New York, Art Santa Fe, Affordable Art Fair New York, Red Dot Miami, and CONTEXT Art Miami during Art Basel Miami.
